Sunday 5th April saw a special event take place in Fernhurst, with a celebration of the centenary of the club and a celebration of the live of our former club secretary. We played a Brighton Select XI including manyhousehold names from past Portsmouth teams. Over 400 people came to join in the celebrations. The event was desigend to raise money for the Marie Curie Cancer Fund, and the Sussex FA Benevolent Fund, and we managed to raisenearly £600 for these worthwhile causes. |
