We still have a number of the highly acclaimed match day programmes available from our Centenary Memorial match against the Brighton Select XI, which raised money for Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Sussex FA Benevolent Fund. The programme contains profiles of the ex-professionals who played and information about Fernhurst Football Club. Fernhurst Sports FC run two teams in the Covers West Sussex Football League, information about these teams can be found in the menu on the left. We are also planning to start a veterans team for players over the age of 35, and a number of youth teams. We have just completed a business plan for the formation of the youth team, including employing a professional coach to coach the youngsters and to help develop new coaches within the club. Further afield, we plan to set up a ladies team, as there are a large number of female footballers locally. This will occur in conjunction with a major redevelopment project of the recreation ground - please review our plans in the Facilities section. |
