Sunday 5th April saw a special event take place in Fernhurst, with a celebration of the centenary of the club and a celebration of the live of our former club secretary. We played a Brighton Select XI including manyhousehold names from past Portsmouth teams. Over 400 people came to join in the celebrations. The event was desigend to raise money for the Marie Curie Cancer Fund, and the Sussex FA Benevolent Fund, and we managed to raisenearly £600 for these worthwhile causes.

The Fernhurst Sports FC second team play in the Covers West Sussex League Division 5 South and is run by Dave Pappa. This is a feeder team to the first team, providing a means of providing young players with a means to get experience, and for injured players to regain match fitness. After three poor season, we now feel that the team is getting stronger and that next season should show a better result for the team.
