The last pre-season friendly of the centenary season

Fernhurst Sports FC played their final friendly of the new season at our neighbours pitch in Milland, against Watersfield. Fernhurst consisted mainly of second team players, and were again being pittted against a team two divisions higher.

The team played well, finishing with a 2-1 win, but the game finished early following a serious injury to a Watersfield player. The game did resume, but many of the players had left, and the game finished soon after, although Watersfield did score an 'equaliser'.
