Fernhurst lies in the Western Weald, just north of the South Downs. The proposed South Downs National Park originally included Fernhurst and the rest of the Western Weald, but a recent revised boundary proposal excludes the area.
Fernhurst lies in the Western Weald, just north of the South Downs. The proposed South Downs National Park originally included Fernhurst and the rest of the Western Weald, but a recent revised boundary proposal excludes the area.
We feel that Fernhurst and the surrounding area would benefit greatly from being part of the National Park, and would urge all visitors of the football club site to sign the petition to get the boundaries restored to their original positions, and include Fernhurst and the Western Weald.
