Fernhurst Sports FC has represented the village of Fernhurst for 100 years, having had its heyday in the 1940's and 50's where the team was one of the leading lights in local footballing circles.
Fernhurst Sports Football Club is regarded as a very friendly, family orientated club, with the first team as the flagship.
Much of the football played by the first team is of high quality, but a lack of consistency and huge player turnover over the last few years have taken their toll. The team, are, however, confident of rising through the West Sussex league again.
