Fernhurst Sports

Fernhurst Sports FC is celebrating it's centenary during the 2007-8 season, having been officially formed in September 1907. Since these times the club has seen many changes, with their best years during the 1940's and 50's.

As part of the centenary celebrations the history of the football club will be complied into a book which will be put on sale to members of the public. An overview of the history is shown in this section of the website, split into the 'Early' history (up to WWII), the 1940's and 50's (our heyday), the 1960's and 70's, the 1980's and 90's and today.

During last season (2006-07), Committee member Thom Poole redesigned the club logo (shown above), and produced a comprehensive media pack, which is available to any local business looking into sponsorship opportunities with the football club.
